A reflection on hosting our first intimate AI builders meetup and why small, meaningful connections matter more than ever.- Published on
My second AI Valley hackathon — and the final chapter in their Return of the Agents trilogy. We built SpeakyTalk, a live AI presentation agent that generates and updates slides in real time as you speak. Here is what we shipped, and what I learned about building voice-driven agents under pressure.
Projects

SpeakyTalk
SpeakyTalk: the world's first live AI presentation agent. It listens, thinks, and builds slides in real time as you speak — no prep, no templates, just your ideas instantly on screen. Built with GPT-4o, ElevenLabs, Vapi, and Speechmatics at AI Valley's Return of the Agents hackathon.

Oppalingo
Oppalingo: An AI-powered Korean language learning app inspired by K-dramas. Users practice conversational Korean with real-time feedback on their audio using Whisper API. MVP version allows interactive lessons and avatar-based responses.

PoolSwap
PoolSwap: A platform that uses Uniswap V4's customizable hooks combined with Worldcoin's ZK Proof Authentication to ensure regulatory compliance and verify user identity, enhancing institutional trust and adoption in DeFi.

BiomeProject
BiomeProject empowers users to purchase Biome tokens as carbon offset credits, using blockchain for transparency and security, and features an interactive globe for allocating tokens to specific eco-friendly initiatives worldwide.
About
I'm Tina — a software engineer turned AI builder, focused on shipping AI products and growing community in public.
I work at the intersection of AI engineering, content, and community: building voice and agent-powered apps, hosting a monthly cowork meetup for AI builders in Orange County, and writing about what I learn along the way.
What I'm working on
- Manifest — an AI-powered visualization app that turns your goals into vision board videos (in development)
- VisibleBuilders — a global community of AI developers and creators shipping in public, with in-person meetups and an active Discord and WhatsApp group
- Writing — meetup recaps, technical lessons from building AI apps, and notes on what's actually hard about shipping with LLMs
What I'm interested in
RAG, voice and video agents, multi-model pipelines, evaluation when there's no ground truth, and Developer Relations — content, community, and the craft of teaching what you build.
Looking for
I'm exploring Developer Relations, Developer Experience, and Tech Advocate roles where building, writing, and community come together. Currently in Orange County, looking for opportunities in SF and NYC.
If you're hiring, building something interesting, or want to swap notes on AI tooling and community, reach out.
